Urban green landscapes, justice, and subtropical Asian cities

Part of LRG's annual research showcase, in 2020 entitled "A future of our own making: What does landscape justice look and feel like in the face of rapid environmental change?"

Interest is growing in justice questions around climate adaptation through nature-based approaches in cities. Yet much work focuses on European and North America cities. This presentation offers initial insight into what just engagement with urban green landscapes for climate adaptation may look like in an Asian context, reflecting on fieldwork in Japan, Taiwan and Vietnam.
