Dr Leslie Mabon is a Senior Lecturer in Social Science at the Scottish Association for Marine Science in Oban. His research focuses on the social dimensions of climate change adaptation – especially nature-based approaches – and the governance of environmental change on the coasts and seas.

A geographer by training, Leslie’s work often involves collaboration across disciplines to better understand responses to environmental change that are both scientifically appropriate and socially acceptable.
