Mengyixin Li received her Ph.D. in landscape architecture from the Technical University of Munich in Germany, is an associate professor at the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture in China, and is a member of the Territorial Landscape Committee, the Cultural Landscape Committee and the Landscape Theory and History Committee of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture, a member of TUM China Urban Landscape LAB at the Professorship of Landscape Architecture and Regional Open Space, and the contributing editor of the journal Landscape Architecture in China. Currently, her research is focused on green open spaces, post-industrial landscapes and cultural landscapes.
