The Landscape Research Group held their fourth annual lecture in partnership with the Architectural Association in London on 4 December 2014. Emeritus Professor and former Chair of LRG Jacquie Burgess spoke on “Valuing wetlands and wetland values.”
The difficulties of making the case for maintaining wetland landscapes are as present in London as they are in countryside localities. The lecture discusses whether an ecosystem-services approach can help in conserving what remains of our lowland wetlands.
